National Ops
ERT SAR responds nationally and internationally and is building a membership based all over the United Kingdom.
In the UK, ERT also have various ongoing training programmes which run all the time. All fully operational members must complete these regular training sessions.
Sometimes, there are opportunities to cross train with other groups, such as the Fire service or an International Team. We usually host these twice a year on biannual training exercises for 'participants' and 'observers'. If you would like to take part and are part of the SAR Community / CCA Cat1 . Responder - please get in touch to see when our next available dates are.
ERT also respond to calls from the emergency services to assist in whatever technical capacity is needed. Listed below are a couple such calls recently.
